2027 Chevrolet Equinox

LT establishes a well-equipped starting point with heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, an 11.3-inch infotainment touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™, and Google built-in. More than 15 safety and driver-assistance technologies are standard, while HD Surround Vision is available for a wider perspective when parking and maneuvering. RS changes the Equinox’s character with black mirrors, exterior moldings, emblems, and badging. It rides on 19-inch wheels as standard, with 20-inch machined wheels available for a more substantial stance. A flat-bottom steering wheel carries the sportier treatment into the cabin, while an available two-tone Black roof provides a contrasting exterior finish. ACTIV is aimed at drivers who spend more time away from smooth pavement. Standard all-terrain tires and dedicated suspension tuning prepare it for gravel and uneven surfaces, while Evotex and sueded microfiber seating surfaces give the interior its own identity. An available two-tone white roof further separates ACTIV from the rest of the range.

Every 2027 Equinox is powered by a turbocharged 1.5L 4-cylinder engine producing 175 hp and 203 lbs. ft. of torque. An automatic transmission handles power delivery, with available AWD providing additional traction for wet pavement, winter weather, and changing road conditions around Westminster and greater Carroll County.

The Equinox accommodates 5 passengers within its 183.2-inch overall length, balancing interior flexibility with dimensions that remain manageable in town. Folding rear seating allows the cargo area to transition between passenger duty and space for luggage, groceries, sports equipment, or outdoor gear. LT brings heated front seats into the standard specification, RS adds its flat-bottom steering wheel, and ACTIV introduces Evotex and sueded microfiber seating surfaces for a more distinctive cabin treatment.

An 11.3-inch infotainment touchscreen serves as the cabin’s digital centerpiece. Google built-in integrates Google Maps, Google Play, and Google Gemini voice interaction, while wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ provide smartphone connectivity without a cable. Wireless phone charging and an Interior Camera are available. Available OnStar® services add Wi-Fi® capability, remote vehicle functions, navigation assistance, entertainment features, and emergency support.

Chevy Safety Assist is standard, bringing Automatic Emergency Braking, Forward Collision Alert, Front Pedestrian Braking, Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning, Following Distance Indicator, and IntelliBeam®.
